Information for North Idaho College Transfers:
If you are planning on transferring to UI Coeur d'Alene within the next two
years, take advantage of the NIC/UI Joint Admissions Program! It's
free advising to make sure you're on track with your NIC coursework and know
all the steps to successfully transfer to the University of Idaho.
It's a good idea to come and talk to one of our Advisors, even if it's just
your first semester at NIC. You can call and make an appointment
with us, or plan on attending one of our
Spring 2008 advising sessions which
will be held at the NIC Library. Here is a

We do have
Articulation Agreements with North Idaho
College. An articulation agreement is an officially
approved agreement used to assist students in taking
the appropriate courses at a community college that
will transfer for credit toward a bachelor's degree
at the University of Idaho. These agreements are
designed to help students make a seamless transition
when transferring to the University of Idaho. If you

Information for Students that Have Not Attended College Yet:
Here in Coeur d'Alene, our students usually register for their core
requirements (their first two years of core classes like English, Natural
Science, Communications, etc...) at a local Community College. The
closest options are North Idaho College and
the Community Colleges of Spokane
However, It's a good idea to
come and talk to one of our Advisors, even if you plan on spending your
first few semesters at one of these institutions. We are happy
